WINTER WORKSHOPS!
We are thrilled to welcome back all the lovely familiar faces we’ve gotten to know over the years and to all the new faces we are excited to meet for this year’s winter workshop season! Please Note: We will be honouring Remembrance Day so therefore there will be no workshops (Including Private) on that day.
The last pieces for our workshops are almost here (they’re on route) we have included photos of them, however they are not here for us to make samples up but we want you to know they will all be fabulously gorgeous or stinking cute!! We will have a “finished” sample at the time of each workshop.
Registration begins Tuesday October 10th/23 please call the greenhouse to reserve your spot for the class you would like to join.

What does the workshop include?
All workshop prices include Instruction and everything you need to complete the project of your choice, we also include hot apple cider and cookies! No need to bring anything other than your creativity and Christmas cheer!! (however we do not provide gloves)
What do I wear?
Our workshops are held in the greenhouse which is not heated….however… the temperature will be warmer inside than out especially if the sun is out BUT when the sun is not it may seem cooler and/or damp so we recommend wearing layers, it is always easier to take a layer off. You may want to bring garden gloves if you have them or mini mitts also work well too.
What happens if I’m late or forgot I signed up?
We try to have prompt start times as we have to clean up the morning workshop in order to get ready for our afternoon workshops, if your running late you may call the greenhouse to let us know and we will get you caught up when you arrive. If you happen to forget that you signed up and miss your workshop we will try to add you to the next possible workshop, we ask that you be flexible as we will do our best to re-book you for another available spot and date.
Can I make second item in the workshop I have signed up for?
The second item would have to be made within the workshop time frame if there is room, to be fair to the others who have signed up we would not be able to make it for you or help you with it as we need to be able to clean-up and be ready for our afternoon class, it is best to ask at time of registration that you would like a second item of the same workshop and our staff will have the workshop “kit” ready for you to make at home.
I need to cancel can I be refunded for a workshop I can no longer attend?
All workshops are non-refundable however we will have the kit from your workshop ready for you to pick up at your convenience (or) we would be happy to make it for you and it can be picked up at anytime, you may also have a friend come to take your place if that works too.
My friend(s) wants to join at the last minute is this possible?
We will be happy to accommodate last minute guests as long as there is space and materials for the particular workshop you have signed up for.
I signed up for a workshop, however I have another commitment overlapping the same time yet can still join, can you get me in and out fast?
We understand “life happens” so please let us know at the beginning of the workshop that you may have to leave early and we will do our best to help get you out the door as quick as possible however these workshops are for fun and we want you to enjoy yourself and the festive atmosphere in which we are trying to provide so please make the time for yourself to savor it all!
I have collected/saved lots of decorative pics from past workshops (or) I have my own ribbon can I use them and get a discount off my workshop?
You are certainly welcome to bring any décor items ribbon, picks or other items you may want to add to your creations, we are sorry we wont be able to give discounts off your workshop as we have already included all items to complete the workshop kit, these items were ordered in advance for our 2023 winter workshop season. please see our hints below on how to reuse your saved items.
Why are there less plastic Christmas balls, glittery décor pics, plastic containers and plastic bags/trunk liners?
There is a theme here and its plastic! we are doing our part and it has to start somewhere, our designer believes we can still make beautiful arrangements for our homes without all the plastic so we are slowly eliminating as much as we can. Our industry is a large contributor of plastics, we feel its our responsibility to reduce as much plastic where possible that is harmful (we all know) to the environment. When we order our Christmas/winter décor products we do ask our suppliers if they have done their best to source out products with the least amount of packaging, “glitter” surprise surprise is also made from inorganic plastics, however there is such a thing as biodegradable glitter! We have also sourced out a better form of Oasis floral foam Maxlife (the green foam block we use for centerpieces) its biodegradable and breaks down within the year as apposed to several lifetimes! You may have some of these items at home from past projects, we recommend passing them along to family, friends, neighbors even schools or better yet reuse them in an arrangement to give as a gift! These may seem like small efforts and will they make a difference? we think so and we will continue to seek out better solutions whenever we can.
